Laura is a well established expert in senior care, beginning as a staffing coordinator for a home care agency matching caregivers with seniors right out of graduate school. Continuing in the field, Laura worked her way up to director, specialized as a family liaison for the Alzheimer's Association, and most recently provided consulting and patient advocacy for seniors and their families through a private Care Management company.

During her undergraduate degree, Laura focused her studies on bereavement counseling and volunteered each summer at a camp for children whose parents passed away at an early age. Laura grew up with a similar experience and found solace in helping children as well as feeling unbelievable gratitude to the elders in her life who stepped in when her parents were gone. This led Laura to pursue her studies in graduate school receiving a Masters in Education with a special interest in Counseling.
