Phoning Homes provides tailored phone call check-ins to individuals who may be living alone or feeling distant.
We check on those who just want to talk and / or need a well-being check; assisting in peace of mind to loved ones. We offer calls any time and day that works for you up to 5 times per week (weekends available). If a Phoning Homes call recipient does not answer, we will contact the care team (family / neighbors) dedicated to the individual, indicated upon signing up, to assure safety and continuity of service.
Phoning Homes will also e-mail a weekly report to the care team.
Human interaction, even over the phone, is key and immeasurable. We not only strive to help Phoning Homes' recipients stay connected but we also work to prevent isolation and try to brighten one's day. We provide one-on-one attention over the phone comparable to in-person interaction at a fraction of the cost of in-home care.

Senior Care Callers are trained in specialized knowledge of senior care through education and on-going workshops to help support individuals living alone, disabled persons, and those who may just need personal contact over the phone. Care Callers can identify signs to better assist your loved one with certain tools or suggestions throughout the week; helping to keep an individual occupied and interested in activities and interactions. Phoning Homes has a standard set of questions you may see here, yet welcomes any specific additions to further engage each individual (add additional questions upon sign-up).
schedule your first call, and answer a few questions about the recipient of calls. If Phoning Homes is unable to reach your loved one, especially important if they live alone, there must be at least one in the care team to be notified. Please be advised Phoning Homes is not an emergency service and cannot be responsible for you or your loved one in an emergency. Phoning Homes checks in on individuals and if there is no answer will then call and e-mail the primary care team member immediately.
